UI/UX
Responsible for crafting product branding, logos, and marketing collateral for the company. Additionally, played a pivotal role in designing the UX and UI for the Yaarlo application.
Yaarlo is an app that allows users to earn cash back from shopping, buying gift cards, and submitting receipts.
The project's requirements were to create the UI/UX for Yaarlo mobile and web app, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, and design presentations. Close collaboration with the founder and developers was essential to build a sophisticated solution that remains user-friendly. I played a key role in developing this app in 2013, responsible for crafting the UI/UX design and handling the front-end coding.
Problem: Yaarlo's target users are local markets seeking a reliable, easy-to-use mobile app for local marketing. The app aims to connect with customers by providing information and presenting local coupons and deals.
Strategy: In-depth user research and analysis guided the creation of user flows and wireframes. Concepts were presented to the client, and through iterative feedback from the founders, we optimized the experience for our target users.
Process: Following an Agile approach with 2-week sprints, each sprint included compiling wireframes, high-resolution mockups, UI, and development specs into detailed documents.
Solution: Yaarlo is available in the Apple and Android app stores. Users can earn cash back, stay updated with local deals, and scan receipts for additional benefits.
